Marbin is an Ambient Jazz duo.
The band was first formed in June 2007 by guitarist Dani Rabin and saxophonist Danny Markovich. Together they have defined a new sound in Jazz. The group's focus is conveying their compositions through the use of unique textures and soundscapes.
During 2007 and early 2008 the band was active in the Israeli music circuit. Marbin has played numerous shows all through the country. Then in September 2009 the band decided to move to Chicago.
Since then Marbin have been recording their first album which will be available in June 2009.
Marbin's music is composed of a space intentionally left for improvisation and interpretation, which keeps any encounter with the music fresh, energetic, and enjoyable.
