Pamphleteer

This Bible feels like fiction.
I wonder whether God
was not some haughty
huckster handing out
picturesque fliers offering
purpose, fame, and
tons of friends in this
life, and Jesus was just
a poor schlub with
nothing better to do
than die on a cross in
front of a big crowd.
I guess I'll drop
this Bible off in
a Motel 6 and
check the want
ads to see if anyone
needs a pamphleteer.
