Male Call
BY R.W. O'ROURKE I JULY 25, 2008
My name is Sal Manila,
An envelope by trade.
Not a life for anyone
Who's squeamish or afraid.
I've carried plans to Presidents,
To Generals and Kings.
I've heard their talk of poverty,
Of war and secret things.
Yes, it's true I've traveled far,
By air and sea and rail.
But, oh, the way you lick my stamps,
It makes me glad I'm mail.
